CFO

As a member of our CFO team, you will have the opportunity to directly impact our customers’ bottom line as well as their daily lives. In addition to reviewing Business Health Assessment results with prospective customers, you will be paired with customers based on your locale and/or industry expertise. These customers will rely on you to understand their unique business and needs, review their financial operations, set strategic goals, and advise how to maintain as well as grow their business.

Expectations

  • Oversee the company’s accounting and financial activities, including bank reconciliations, management reporting, and, where necessary, payables and receivables transaction processing
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances 
  • Report financial status by developing analysis, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements
  • Partner with management to provide data-driven insight and forward-looking guidance on costs and revenues 
  • Work with management on strategic business planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support plans for company growth, future market opportunities, and strategic direction
  • Provide direct leadership to the accounting and finance resources
  • Manage external relationships to support growth, including bank funding, corporate debt, investor capital, and investment portfolio oversight 
  • Manage the financial operations of the company and establish operational strategies by evaluating trends and establishing critical measurements

Once onboarded, you will receive technology tools to serve your clients, an education series to consistently improve insights, and a network of CFOs available for support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business/economics or related
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting or finance
  • CPA, MBA, and/or CFA or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills and experience
  • Solid GAAP and financial reporting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with a Board of Directors
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with accounting, billing, and banking software tools as well as productivity suites
  • Targeted focus areas: Healthcare, Legal, Consulting, SAAS, Non-profit, and general CFO skills
